We wanted to extend our sincerest appreciation to everyone who came out and made the 2016 AJ’s Angels Golf Scramble & Auction the best event yet! Every year we try to do our best to make a good thing out of an unfortunate situation. None of it would be possible without you and your involvement, so for that, we thank you!We are excited to announce that we beat our last year’s total, making this year the most successful AJ’s Angels event to date.
For the past few years our donations have been going to the development and construction of the Laura Moore Cunningham Pediatric Outdoor Play Area located at St Luke’s MSTI Pediatric Clinic. We are pleased to say, that with your help, we will see the fruition of this project unveiled this fall! In addition to the outdoor play area, your donations are going to helping update the pediatric surgical waiting area. Thanks to you we are able to make a difference in some families unthinkable situation.

AJ’s Angels is a non-profit organization started in 2001 after our son’s battle with a brain tumor. Our focus is to provide support for pediatric cancer patients and their families. Past projects have included donations of $25,000 to St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital for a play area in the pediatric pre-operative surgical area, a contribution to “Just Like Me” films for kids with cancer going back to school, laptop computers for Children’s Mercy in Kansas City, MO, and $40,000 for the remodeling and upkeep of a 2116 sq. ft. playroom at Miami Children’s Hospital and of course last year’s donation of $25,000 for St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital expansion for the MSTI Pediatric Clinic.
